Mistral AI is seeking a senior software engineer for its Defense team to design and build data-centric services with strong ownership. You will shape architecture, implement production-grade components, and ensure robust security and governance in demanding defense environments.

You will work across Python and TypeScript stacks, collaborate with engineers, and drive end-to-end delivery using cutting-edge AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI coding tools and agentic engineering workflows.
• Strong track record building and operating production software with ownership of complex systems.
• Experience in data engineering or building transactional, analytical or distributed systems.
• Experience with access control, permissions and data governance within platforms.

Responsabilités

• Design and build services for data ingestion, transformation, storage, querying and workflows.
• Develop shared data models, APIs and SDKs for a consistent foundation.
• Define and enforce access control with audit trails across data and actions.
• Address data consistency, schema evolution, concurrency and performance across services.
• Translate needs from engineers and defense users into reusable software capabilities.
• Own delivery end to end, including testing, observability, and maintenance.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging.
