Mistral is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data infrastructure across teams. You will enable product and science teams to access secure, reliable data and support AI model training and analytics initiatives.

With 10+ years in data engineering and strong Python/SQL skills, you will work across cloud platforms and modern warehouses, contributing to scalable, cost-efficient data solutions while ensuring governance and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a Data Engineering role.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data warehousing.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics infrastructure. Automate data quality checks and validation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality, actionable solutions, e.g. work with ML teams to support model training, deployment pipelines, and feature stores.
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, processing, and queries for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data lineage standards.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
