Mistral is seeking passionate and talented software engineers to join our team as Backend Engineer. You will help build core systems powering our Cloud solutions, designing robust APIs and scalable services for our rapidly expanding enterprise user base.

You will work with product managers, frontend engineers and data/AI teams across our global footprint, contribute to code quality and architecture, and stay ahead with new technologies to improve performance, reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Golang and backend APIs.
Strong understanding of distributed architectures.
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
Observability and monitoring experience (Prometheus, Grafana).
Ownership mindset and end-to-end delivery.

Responsabilités

Design, develop and maintain scalable backend features and APIs.
Ensure high performance and reliability of distributed systems.
Contribute to authentication, billing, AI tooling, observability, and developer experience.
Design secure, scalable architectures; collaborate with infra teams.
Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, designers, and data/AI engineers.
Stay updated with new technologies and bring them to production.
