Job summary

Scaleway is seeking a Datacenter IT Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair IT hardware in high-density datacenters. You will assemble racks, perform fiber and copper testing, and resolve hardware issues while upholding strict compliance.

You will join a small team across two clusters (Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône and Vitry-sur-Seine), work on-site with suppliers, and document work in Jira Service Management, Odoo and Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on IT hardware maintenance experience.
• Proven hardware diagnostics, assembly, and cabling skills.
• Active B-category driver's license required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rack, cable, and configure servers in datacenter spaces.
• Perform fiber/copper testing using optical tracers and reflectometers.
• Escorts and coordinates external subcontractors on-site.
• Log and update tickets and asset records in Jira/Odoo/Sheets.
• Maintain security compliance and site access controls.
