Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Data Center Technician, located in Lille. The primary responsibilities include the day-to-day operations and maintenance of data center equipment and infrastructure. Tasks involve ensuring proper cable management, performing cabling and structured cabling installations, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining overall data center operations to ensure efficiency and operational standards. The candidate will also ensure compliance with safety protocols and support IT teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Cable Management and Structured Cabling processes
• Proficiency in Data Center Operations and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Experience in handling Cabling and understanding structured cabling designs
• Attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling equipment in a data center
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience as a Data Center Technician or related role is a plus
• Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Server+, BICSI, or equivalent are advantageous
