Job summary

Scaleway in Paris region is seeking a dedicated Datacenter IT Team Leader to maintain, diagnose, and repair IT hardware in high-density datacenters, while setting standards and KPIs. You will lead a local team, assemble racks, perform optoelectronic testing, and protect Scaleway’s operational interests on site.

You will coordinate with site suppliers and internal teams, mentor technicians, and ensure strict SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience as an IT Datacenter Technician with team coordination or lead roles.
• Strong server troubleshooting and hardware assembly skills.
• Experience with optical fiber/copper testing and related equipment.
• Active B-category driver's license for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor local technicians, uphold operational excellence.
• Assemble, rack, cabling, and configure servers in datacenter spaces.
• Perform diagnostics, component replacements, and fiber/copper testing.
• Coordinate on-site with external service providers and suppliers.
• Process and track internal incident tickets (Jira Service Management), asset flows (Odoo), and reporting (Google Sheets) within SLA.
