Orion Group is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to join a major offshore Oil & Gas development in Paris. You will oversee cost control for one or more package areas such as FPSO, SURF, SPS or PMT, with residential/office-based assignment starting October 2026.

Responsibilities include cost forecasting, phased forecasts, VOWD and accruals, monthly reporting and variance analysis, change control, phasing and re-baselining, and SAP cost management reconciliation, working closely with

• Experience in cost forecasting and control for large offshore oil & gas projects.
• Ability to produce phased forecasts, VOWD and accruals, and cost reporting.
• Strong collaboration with planning, contracts & procurement teams on cost issues.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Cost Controller to join a major international deepwater Oil & Gas development.

Location: Paris, France

Start: October 2026

Duration: 12 months initially

Residential / office-based assignment

The successful candidate will take cost control responsibility for one or more major project packages, potentially covering areas such as FPSO, SURF, SPS or PMT.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cost forecasting and phased forecast management
• VOWD and monthly accruals
• Monthly cost reporting and variance analysis
• Change control and assessment of cost impacts
• Cost phasing and re-baseline activities
• Package cost management and reporting
• SAP / cost management system reconciliation
• Working closely with Package, Planning, Contracts & Procurement teams

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience on large-scale offshore / deepwater Oil & Gas projects, ideally involving FPSO, subsea or SURF packages.
