Altea Energy is seeking a Senior Cost Controller for a major offshore development project in France. The residential position is based in Paris, working within a high‑performance project controls environment.

Responsibilities include cost control, forecasting, reporting, and change management across FPSO/SURF/SPS packages, coordinating with contracts, procurement, and planning to ensure budget adherence. The role emphasizes delivering accurate monthly cost reports, maintaining VOWD forecasts,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Cost Control within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience on major EPC or offshore development projects.
• Experience managing large CAPEX packages such as FPSO, SURF, SPS, Offshore infrastructure.
• Previous experience within multidisciplinary Project Controls teams is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage cost control activities for one or more major project packages.
• Maintain phased cost forecasts based on Value of Work Done (VOWD).
• Review and validate contractor monthly cost reports.
• Lead monthly cost review meetings with Package Teams.
• Monitor budget performance and identify cost variances.
• Forecast project expenditures and remaining costs.
• Prepare monthly cost reports including cost summaries, cash flow and phasing profiles.
• Support Project Management by providing accurate and timely financial information.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
• Assess the cost impact of changes raised through MOC; coordinate with Contracts and Procurement.
• Ensure changes are recorded within project cost control systems.
