Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Paranoids Corporate System Security Engineer to join our security review team. You will perform hands-on security reviews of third‑party SaaS, internal tools, and AI/LLM products, identifying risks and recommending controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security review experience in IT or corporate security.
• Experience assessing third‑party or SaaS products and data flows.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption in transit and at rest, logging, and secure communications.
• Working knowledge of SSO and MFA in Okta.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM security basics such as data exposure.
• Awareness of agentic patterns and audit implications.
• Hands‑on use of AI tools for analysis and drafting findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on security reviews of corporate systems and AI/LLM products, identifying risks and recommending controls.
• Own the high-volume review queue: intake triage, onboarding, access requests, and baseline checks with documented dispositions.
• Use AI-assisted tooling as part of review work and verify outputs before recordation.
• Assist with MCP and agentic connection reviews—checking authentication, authorization, scope, consent, and audit coverage.
• Contribute to internal review tooling, rubrics, runbooks, and the precedent library.
• Support the annual corporate‑product check‑in and SaaS inventory reconciliation against review history.
• Stay current with emerging threats across corporate SaaS, identity, and AI tooling.
