Job summary

Yahoo's information security team is expanding to own end-to-end endpoint hardening, leading rollout of a new browser security platform and integrating with device management partners.

You will build policies, tune enforcement, and partner across teams to balance security with productive work, while staying curious about browser threat landscapes.

The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to influence multi-year roadmaps with real ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with enterprise browser security platforms and zero-trust.
• 4+ years in information security, especially endpoint security.
• Hands-on macOS and Windows endpoint hardening at enterprise scale using MDM.
• Knowledge of TPM, Secure Boot, full-disk encryption and recovery keys.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of a browser security platform from pilot to full fleet.
• Automate review and risk scoring of extension requests using AI tools.
• Validate AI-generated policy logic before deployment.
• Collaborate with identity, legal, and comms to launch milestones.
• Triage exceptions and update policies to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with IT across laptop lifecycle and data sanitization.
• Report fleet risk posture and program progress to leadership.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows to automate investigations.
• Support container security and cloud security initiatives.
• Adhere to Yahoo policies and ensure secure, inclusive operations.
