Consensio Chalets Ltd in Les Gets, France, is seeking Chalet Host positions for the winter season. The roles run mid-November to 28 February, with accommodation and meals provided. Applicants must have the right to work in France (EU citizenship or Carte de séjour).

You will support the Chalet Manager and team to deliver world-class hospitality, covering front-of-house duties, housekeeping, and guest services in a highly rewarding setting.

Responsibilities

• Breakfast service: seating guests, taking orders for hot food and beverages.
• Afternoon Tea: presenting a light meal with one sweet and one savoury item plus drinks.
• Evening Service: delivering a formal dining experience with canapés, a chef-designed menu, and wine pairing.
• Housekeeping: weekly changeover clean, midweek linen change, daily cleaning of guest areas, turndown service.
• Guest Communication: proactively addressing queries and fulfilling requests.
• Chalet Maintenance: identifying and reporting maintenance issues to the chalet manager.
• Health & Safety: upholding hygiene and safety standards.
• Supplier Relations: supporting relationships with local suppliers.
• Driving Duties: providing in-resort driving service when needed.
• Environmental Responsibility: supporting sustainability initiatives.

We are delighted to offer Chalet Host positions at our Ultimate Chalet in Les Gets, France.

The roles are available from mid-November to 28th February.

Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in France, either through EU citizenship or a valid Carte de séjour.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic and hands‑on position, supporting the Chalet Manager and wider team in delivering an exceptional 5‑star guest experience. The primary focus is on outstanding customer service, with the key aim of providing world‑class hospitality and creating unforgettable moments for every guest. As a Chalet Host, you will take responsibility for both front‑of‑house duties and housekeeping services. This is a highly rewarding role involving frequent interaction with both guests and team members. You will work a variety of shifts as part of a collaborative team, covering the full range of services outlined below.

Main Responsibilities

• Breakfast Service: Preparing the dining area, warmly welcoming and seating guests, and taking orders for hot food and beverages.
• Afternoon Tea: Presenting a light meal comprising one sweet and one savoury item, accompanied by drinks as requested by guests.
• Evening Service: Delivering a formal dining experience, including canapés, a bespoke chef‑designed menu tailored to guests’ preferences, and expertly paired wines.
• Housekeeping:
  • Conducting a thorough weekly changeover clean of the entire property and a midweek linen change.
  • Providing daily housekeeping for all guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ski room, living areas and the spa area.
  • Ensuring the back‑of‑house and laundry areas remain clean, well‑organised, and efficient.
  • Daily evening turndown service
• Guest Communication: Proactively engaging with guests to address queries and fulfil special requests promptly.
• Chalet Maintenance: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the chalet manager.
• Health & Safety: Upholding hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
• Supplier Relations: Supporting and enhancing relationships with local suppliers where appropriate.
• Driving Duties: Providing the in‑resort driving service for guests as needed.
• Environmental Responsibility: Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and actively supporting Consensio’s environmental initiatives.
