Job summary

Cunextseason is seeking a Chalet Chef for the 2023/24 winter season in the French Alps. The role involves working in an open kitchen, creating menus, and serving breakfast, canapés, and a 4-course dinner five days a week.

You will manage budgeting and kitchen operations while ensuring top-notch guest service. You will live in included employee housing, with a monthly wage and two days off per week, and participate in in-house training.

Qualifications

• Must create and modify menus according to guests' requests and diets.
• Experience with breakfast, 4-course meals and afternoon cake; open kitchen in front of guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast, afternoon cake, canapés and a 4-course meal for guests 5 days a week
• Weekly shop and grocery budgeting
• Plan, budget and manage all aspects of the kitchen
• Participate in cleaning the chalet for new arrivals
• Answer questions and provide information to guests to help them enjoy local activities
