Limagrain is an international agricultural cooperative. Within the Field Seeds Division, a Bioinformatician/Computational Biologist is needed for a 12-month contract in Chappes to advance genomics tools, pipelines and data infrastructure.

You will migrate tools to HPC, build analysis pipelines, and deploy user interfaces while supporting scientists in interpreting complex data and documenting workflows for long-term scalability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science applied to Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in bioinformatics and the analysis of omics data.

Responsabilités

• Develop and enhance computational tools and infrastructure for genomics research.
• Migrate bioinformatics tools and datasets to a new HPC environment.
• Design, develop, and optimize bioinformatics analysis pipelines.
• Develop and deploy internal GUIs to improve user experience.
• Support scientists in analysis and interpretation of complex biological data.
• Document software, workflows and procedures for maintainability.
• Train users on deployed computational solutions and best practices.
• Regularly present project results and technical developments to stakeholders.
