Limagrain invites a Research Officer in Genome Editing Technologies to join the GE-Dev team. You will identify, evaluate, and develop next-generation genome editing tools, driving innovation from lab to varietal development in major crop species.

The role demands a PhD in plant biotechnology, 5+ years of genome editing experience, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in an international environment. French and English communications are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in plant biotechnology or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in genome editing development or application
• Strong background in molecular biology and genetic engineering
• Experience with plant genetic transformation and multidisciplinary projects
• Able to operate in international environment

Responsabilités

• Develop and advance genome editing technologies and tools
• Identify and evaluate new approaches to accelerate research
• Collaborate with IP teams to secure freedom to operate
• Design experiments to improve editing efficiency, accuracy and robustness
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate cloning activities
