Alvarez & Marsal in Paris is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate for Global Transaction Advisory to support French and pan-European deals. You will work with Managing Directors and teams on diverse client engagements, gaining broad deal experience across sectors.

The role offers exposure to multi-disciplinary teams, rigorous financial analysis, and cross-border projects with growth and formal training opportunities. Fluent English and French are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a leading Grande Ecoles in Business and / or Engineering, or equivalent.
• Big 4 trained - Transaction Services, Private Equity, Audit and M&A advantageous.
• Fluent business level English and French is essential; other European languages desirable.

Responsabilités

• Work with large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions.
• Contribute to and lead projects & work streams reporting to MDs or SDs.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams in France and across geographies.
• Gain exposure to senior team members and participate in formal training programs.
• Apply financial analysis to driving drivers and valuations for transactions.
• Network with service lines and support external marketing events.

What We Do

A&M provides investors and lenders the answers needed to get the deal done. The role

We are growing and continuing to expand our established French team in Paris, we are looking to hire an Associate / Senior Associate, Transaction Advisory with experience in Transaction Advisory and who can support our Managing Directors and wider teams and can deliver on French and pan-European projects to our clients.

• Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure
• Contribute to & lead projects & work streams reporting directly to the Managing Directors or Senior Directors
• Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in France and across geographies and build broad international deal experience
• Gain exposure to senior members of the team in France and internationally gaining ‘on the job’ learning & development in addition to established formal training programs
• Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to analysing the key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction
• Work alongside A&M’s operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence & wider deal process
• Network with our service lines and work on external marketing events to build cross-service line relationships

Essential Experience

• Graduated from a leading “Grande Ecoles” in Business and / or Engineering, or equivalent
• Big 4 trained - with experience in Transaction Services, Private Equity, Audit and M&A advantageous
• Exposure to blue-chip Corporates and/ or Private Equity is useful
• Fluent business level English and French is essential. Additional European language skills including Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
