Alvarez & Marsal in Paris is seeking an experienced Director or Senior Director to join our European Valuation & Modelling practice. You will lead complex engagements, collaborate with senior professionals, and contribute to high‑impact client work.

Fluent business‑level French and English are essential, and you should have a strong network across the French business leader communities. Ambition, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly valued at A&M.

Qualifications

• Significant valuations experience in the Valuations team at a Big 4 accounting firm / independent valuation firm / consulting firm
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent business level French and English is essential; additional European languages valued

Responsabilités

• Work closely with Managing Directors in France and across EMEA on business development activities including proposals, pitches & networking
• Lead multiple and complex Valuation engagements whilst collaborating with specialists across teams
• Use a variety of tools to conduct extensive data analysis and valuation modelling
• Conduct research, synthesize information and develop reports
• Contribute to the development of the wider team through formal and informal training

We provide a full suite of valuation and modelling services in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructuring, Private Equity portfolios, Contentious Valuations, Complex Financial Instruments, Illiquid Securities and Financial and Tax reporting. All of our teams are expanding, and we have established A&M as one of the leading providers of Valuations globally.

The Team

Our European Valuation & Modelling business is dynamic and fast growing. Over the last 7 years we have established teams across the USA and in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Paris and Dubai. We are unrestricted by any conflict with audit mandates and the resulting issues caused that are typical in many of our competitors. We are also able to operate cross‑border seamlessly.

How You Will Contribute

Due to the continued growth of the team we are looking for an experienced Director or a Senior Director to join us in our Paris office. Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Managing Directors in France and across EMEA on business development activities including proposals, pitches & networking

• Use a variety of tools to conduct extensive data analysis and valuation modelling
• Conduct research, synthesize information and develop reports
• Contribute to the development of the wider team through the provision of formal and informal training
