Alvarez & Marsal France in Paris is expanding its Corporate Transformation Services practice, seeking Directors to join CTS in Paris. You will work directly with Managing Directors, help drive business development, and deliver enterprise-wide change across industries.
The role requires fluency in English and French, strong financial acumen, and willingness to travel across the UK and Europe from Day 1; the team values independent thinkers who deliver results.

Our established Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) practice focuses on enterprise-wide change to particularly help define and deliver sustainable performance improvements. We help our clients navigate complex transformations, repositioning, integrations, carve-outs, operational turnaround/restructuring. We work for corporations across several industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Tech, FMCG, Hospitality & Leisure, and Energy. Our scope of services includes taking hands-on operational roles in various functions to support our clients when required.
We are expanding our CTS practice in Paris and as a result we have multiple opportunities for experienced Corporate Transformation professionals in our Paris office, at Director level.
You will:
Be an active part of the teams directly supporting the Managing Directors and actively contributing to business development. Development activities include pitching C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs)
Review financial and operational performance to build diagnosis, identify root causes and provide clarity on underperformance to client leadership; prepare executable action plan.
Assist on producing financial modelling and analysis including Financial & Operational models and projections.
Identify and quantify improvement levers jointly with clients, including revised operating plan to improve the business operational performance (plant layouts, production processes, etc.); communicate case for change to client leadership.
Collaboratively with clients, lead execution of transformation plans to realize EBITDA, Working Capital and other long-term benefits.
Drive quick initial short-term gains to release cash to invest in longer transformation targets
Work with CTS clients through the full spectrum of complex issues that arise in operations, including manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and purchasing.
The successful candidates will possess a proven consulting & ideally corporate background. You will need to be an expert in design and delivery of organizational change and transformational programs at C-suite and board level.
Possess excellent financial & business acumen, including understanding of financial statements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Some Excel modelling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize – especially in complex situations
Previous significant experience in consulting and/or industry, ideally gained through an operational position
Must have an ability and willingness to travel (potentially from Day 1) to client sites, across the UK & European regions, at short notice as part of the working week
Fluency to a business level in both verbal and written English & French is essential
A persuasive and effective communicator & stakeholder manager who can engage effectively with leadership teams in pressure situations and influence at Board level.
