Mistral is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design and deliver production-grade, AI-powered systems across departments. You will own the stack from data models to frontend interfaces, aligning business goals with technical execution and ROI.

Work closely with product, engineering and business teams to turn complex requirements into scalable, observable solutions. You’ll lead with speed, quality, and a strong focus on delivering value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and deploying production AI software.
• Strong full-stack engineer: Python/TypeScript, scalable backends (FastAPI/Node), and frontend (React/Vue).
• Hands-on with GenAI use cases: RAG, agents, workflows, orchestration and evaluation.
• Excellent communication in fluent English and ownership with delivery focus.

Responsabilités

• Run discovery with department heads and key users to map workflows and build a prioritized use-case backlog.
• Deliver end-to-end: design and ship production-grade full-stack apps (Python/FastAPI, React) and AI systems.
• Encode business rules, KPIs and ROI metrics into durable data assets and app logic.
• Own the surface architecture for scalability, security and observability.
• Identify patterns across departments and turn one-off solutions into reusable building blocks.
