Mistral is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Product Engineering team to lead the development of scalable, reliable AI platform systems powering millions of users. You will balance technical contributions with people management and work closely with Product Managers to align engineering work with business objectives.

The role focuses on defining architecture, building high-quality production systems, and maintaining engineering standards and processes as the team scales across regions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for your team and remove obstacles.
• Own delivery of your team’s roadmap and quality standards.
• Define roadmap, scope initiatives, and drive prioritization with PMs.
• Contribute to architecture, system design, and code reviews.
• Define and evolve team processes for scaling and clarity.
• Encourage knowledge sharing to boost team resilience.
• Hold the team accountable for results and execution.
• Keep the team engaged in product direction.
