PALO IT Labs, France, is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our AI-first engineering practice. You will translate strategy into execution, raise engineering standards, and guide delivery across client engagements and internal R&D efforts.

Lead the AI engineering community, mentor senior engineers, and own the governance of architecture, pipelines, and tooling to ensure production-ready outcomes. Hybrid, Paris-area based with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
• Experience delivering production-grade AI-first systems (LLM, RAG, agents).
• Proven ability to scale engineering practices and mentor teams.
• Fluent in French and English for client and international collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Translate strategy into daily execution and roadmap delivery.
• Manage engineering standards, CI/CD, incident management, and security posture.
• Lead and nurture Forward Deployed Engineers and AI tech leads.
• Own technical incidents with post-mortems and accountability.
• Drive pre-sales input and technical scoping for engagements.
• Foster cross-project collaboration and reusable patterns.
• Uphold values and ensure high-quality, production-ready delivery.
