Capco in Paris is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to join the AI Frontier Lab. You will own the architecture of agentic solutions end to end, oversee orchestration, memory, tool calling, and governance, while still writing code and representing technical decisions to clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data engineering with enterprise architecture experience.
• Strong Python or equivalent and ability to open a PR in week 2.
• Agentic AI experience: orchestration, tool use, multi-agent patterns, eval methods.
• Depth on at least one major cloud platform with containers, IaC, observability, security.

Responsabilités

• Own the architecture of agentic solutions end to end: orchestration, tool and function calling, memory and state, retrieval, evaluation, observability, plus cost and latency budgets.
• Guide engineers through design reviews, pairing and code review to raise the bar.
• Set standards: reference architectures, agentic patterns, guardrails, testing and eval strategy, CI/CD for non-deterministic systems, deployment topology.
• Make build/buy/adapt decisions on frameworks, models and platforms and defend them long-term.
• Prototype fast, build hard parts, productionize prototypes with reliability, monitoring, versioning, rollback, and human-in-the-loop.
