Mercor is seeking an Aerodynamics Writer - Engineering to create original, expert-level aerodynamics problems grounded in real industry scenarios for our remote teams.

You will write complete solutions, validate difficulty with frontier language models, and assess AI-generated content to strengthen model reasoning and rigor.

The ideal candidate has a PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with thermofluids specialization and 5+ years in CFD, wind tunnel testing, or external aerodynamics.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in external aerodynamics, CFD, wind tunnel testing, propulsion, or vehicle aerodynamics.

Compensation: $85/hour

• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content in aerodynamics to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs .
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .

Qualifications Must-Have

• PhD in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a thermofluids/aerodynamics specialization .
• 5+ years of hands-on professional/industry experience in external aerodynamics , CFD , wind tunnel testing, propulsion, or vehicle aerodynamics.

Preferred

• Candidates from well-known/blue-chip employers.
