Lifted, an Upwork Company, seeks CFD and aerodynamics engineers to design compact tasks that test AI models’ engineering reasoning. You will craft precise problem statements covering boundaries, mesh quality, flow regimes, and setup, and build scoring checkers and reference solutions to ensure solvability.

You will work independently from a fully remote, asynchronous environment with flexible hours and weekly onboarding via Upwork contracts.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on OpenFOAM experience for CFD simulations.
• Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics and heat transfer.
• Experience with mesh generation, turbulence modeling, boundary conditions, and post-processing.

Mansioni

• Design compact, self-contained CFD/aero tasks to evaluate AI models' engineering reasoning.
• Create clear and technically accurate problem statements on boundaries, mesh quality, flow regimes, and setup.
• Develop deterministic scoring checkers to objectively evaluate AI responses.
• Produce verified reference solutions for technical accuracy and solvability.
• Review and refine tasks to improve clarity, accuracy, and difficulty.
• Apply OpenFOAM experience to develop practical engineering scenarios.
• Work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with scheduling flexibility.
