Job summary

Fortum in Espoo seeks a Lead, IT Development to drive the IT development agenda, execute strategic initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams across IT Service Excellence.

You will shape roadmaps, coordinate change management, design learning materials, and translate complex topics into clear insights for decision-making. A senior leader with 10+ years in IT and excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
• 10+ years of IT and business environment experience.
• Proven experience leading teams, large-scale initiatives, and organizational change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive the IT Service Excellence agenda in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Lead selected development initiatives and projects, coordinating efforts across teams.
• Coordinate Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities and support adoption of new ways of working.
• Design and deliver training initiatives, learning materials, and stakeholder enablement activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT units to align priorities and identify improvements.
• Contribute to strategies, roadmaps and strategic IT decisions aligned with Fortum objectives.
• Translate complex topics into clear insights, models and recommendations.
• Develop communication materials tailored to different stakeholder groups.
• Facilitate complex business decisions and support key initiatives.
• Adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.
• Build and maintain internal and external professional networks.
