Job summary

Fortum Corporation in Espoo seeks a Lead, IT Development to drive the IT development agenda, adopt the IT Flow, governance, and coordinate day-to-day and long-term strategic work. You will lead in a cross-functional environment with stakeholders across Fortum.

In this role you will collaborate with IT units to align priorities, manage expectations, and identify improvement opportunities while contributing to roadmaps and strategic IT decisions. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT and business environments.
• Proven experience leading teams, large-scale initiatives, and organizational change.
• Strong track record of delivering results and driving business outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive the IT Service Excellence agenda with leadership.
• Lead selected development initiatives and coordinate across teams.
• Coordinate Organizational Change Management activities and support adoption of new ways of working.
• Design and deliver training initiatives, learning materials and stakeholder enablement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT units to align priorities and identify improvements.
• Contribute to strategies, roadmaps and strategic IT decisions aligned with objectives.
• Translate complex topics into insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Develop communication materials tailored to different stakeholder groups.
• Facilitate complex business decisions and support implementation of key initiatives.
• Adapt to changing priorities and build strong internal and external networks.
