Job summary

Vaisala, headquartered in Finland, is seeking a Process Engineer, Services in Helsinki to lead operational improvements for our Service Centers and Field Services. You will collaborate with Service Center teams, Field Services, R&D, and Factory operations to standardize the process foundation and scale the service business.

You will contribute by creating work instructions, improving test stations, and developing repair logic while leveraging your Lean and Six Sigma expertise to drive quality

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience developing and documenting standard work instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis experience.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve work instructions, process maps, and repair procedures.
• Improve use of test stations, tools, and technical equipment.
• Develop clear repair decision logic and quality-release practices.
• Analyze service workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead structured problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Use operational data to improve quality, turnaround time, and efficiency.
• Develop capabilities for new expanded service offerings.
