Job summary

Neste is seeking an Automation Lead Engineer to join its automation engineering team in Porvoo, Finland. You will lead the design and implementation of automation systems for demanding process projects, guiding a skilled team and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in process automation, solid DCS/SIS knowledge, and a degree in engineering.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in process automation engineering.
Knowledge of DCS and SIS automation systems and control engineering.
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or other applicable field.
Self-initiative and solution-oriented attitude.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a design team in projects according to quality, scope, time and safety.
Be responsible for DCS and SIS control and hardware engineering and purchasing activities.
Supervise suppliers and subcontractors' work.
Participate in DCS and SIS testing (FAT, SAT) and commissioning activities.
Manage internal stakeholders and external partners and suppliers.
Collaborate with the client and contribute to process improvements and engineering procedures.
