Nordhealth, a remote-first provider of cloud-based PIMS for veterinary and therapy professionals, is seeking a Senior SRE to join a global, fast-growing team. You will design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure, advance observability, automate tasks in Python, and lead the Internal Developer Platform to empower product teams.

This role embraces collaboration in a remote-first setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Site Reliability or DevOps, deep IaC and Kubernetes expertise, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Expert in Infrastructure-as-Code, especially with Terraform.
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including Helm, Kustomize, operators, and cluster-level debugging.
• Strong understanding of observability principles and tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
• Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling; Django experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters and tooling for highly available, scalable services.
• Evolve observability maturity with metrics, tracing, logging, monitoring and alerting.
• Automate operational tasks and build scalable tooling in Python to reduce toil.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and secure software delivery.
