Job summary

If Skadeforsikring is seeking a motivated software developer to influence the Nordic digital services landscape. You will drive adoption of Next.js and AI-driven practices while mentoring colleagues and shaping responsible AI use across coding, testing, and documentation.

You will build web services and APIs on Azure with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Razor, in a cross-functional agile setting.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in software development (mid or senior level).
• Strong Next.js skills and daily use of AI tools in development.
• Backend development with C#/.NET and REST API design.
• Frontend experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with Azure, Git, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS (Tailwind) and API integration.
• Experience building AI-powered features and integrating LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI).
• Fluent English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of Next.js and AI-assisted development in the team.
• Mentor colleagues and promote best practices for responsible AI use in coding, testing, reviews, and documentation.
• Design and deliver web services and APIs on Azure-hosted services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finland and Nordics.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
