Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo, Finland, is seeking an RF Test Engineer to support qualification of radar satellite hardware and develop test systems. You will contribute to AIT activities for next-generation satellite platforms and work closely with the Electronics and RF Test Team Lead in a permanent on-site/hybrid role.

The role requires a MSc/ BSc in a related field and 3+ years in RF/electronics testing, with hands-on lab experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in testing, test automation, electronics and RF.
• RF test engineer or RF design engineer background.
• Hands-on with lab equipment (scopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, RF generators, power sensors, thermal chambers).
• Proven root-cause analysis on failures.
• Strong English and ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
• Nice-to-haves: aerospace experience, Linux, Python, Altium, Git/SVN.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualification plans verifying radar components and RF satellite hardware.
• Prepare and maintain test procedures and reports for reviews.
• Carry out a wide range of qualification tests.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide clear feedback to design teams.
• Design and build EGSE, data acquisition systems, and custom test hardware/software.
• Support the transition of new hardware into production.
