Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo, Finland is seeking an RF Test Engineer to support qualification of radar satellite hardware and develop test equipment. You will contribute to AIT activities for next generation satellite platforms and work with an embedded team in a hybrid on-site setting.

The role requires a strong background in RF testing, lab instrumentation, and root-cause analysis, with English communication in a multicultural environment. Permanent position with security screening where required.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in testing, test automation, electronics, and RF.
• Background as an RF test engineer and/or RF design engineer.
• Hands-on experience testing custom electronics systems with lab equipment.
• Proven experience performing root-cause analysis on failures.
• A positive attitude and a drive to learn new things.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualification plans that verify RF satellite hardware against design requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for internal reviews (test procedures, test reports, procedures).
• Carry out a wide range of qualification tests.
• Analyze test data, investigate failures, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Give clear, actionable feedback to design teams.
• Design and build EGSE, data acquisition systems, and custom test hardware/software.
• Support the transition of new hardware components into production.
