Job summary

IC Resources in Finland is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to own RF design across customer and internal development projects, with hands-on work from schematic design to lab verification.

You’ll work with customers, suppliers and manufacturing partners to shape technical solutions for wireless products, including antenna and EMC considerations. A hybrid work model is available in Espoo or Tampere, and eligibility to work in Finland is required.

Job description

Our client is a growing Finnish engineering company specialising in RF, antenna and EMC design and testing. They work across a range of wireless products, supporting customers from early concept and simulation through to prototype verification and production.

As a Senior RF Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of RF design work across customer and internal development projects. The work is hands-on and varied, covering schematic design, layout review, RF simulation, component selection and lab verification. You’ll also work directly with customers, suppliers and manufacturing partners, helping shape technical solutions and assess feasibility.

They’re looking for a Senior RF Design Engineer with strong practical experience in RF hardware development, ideally someone comfortable moving between design, simulation and measurement. Experience with tools such as ADS, CST, HFSS, AWR, Altium or similar would be relevant, alongside a solid understanding of wireless technologies such as cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS or UWB.

Experience with antenna design, OTA measurements, anechoic chambers or EMC testing would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.

This Senior RF Design Engineer role would suit someone who wants more technical ownership and variety than you typically get in a large product company. You’ll work across different RF challenges, have direct input into customer projects, and have access to a well-equipped RF lab.

The role can be based in Espoo or Tampere, with hybrid working available. Applicants must be eligible to work in Finland.
