Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo, Finland is seeking a Senior RF Engineer for the Radar Payload Team. You will own RF hardware development across the radar chain, from Tx/Rx to front-end and filtering, delivering flight-ready hardware for spaceborne SAR.

You will translate mission needs into RF requirements, run simulations, perform hands-on lab bring-up, and mentor engineers while collaborating cross-functionally. The role requires 10+ years of RF experience and a passion for robust, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of end-to-end RF hardware experience.
• Hands-on RF lab measurement and debugging.
• Experience with RF simulations and 3D EM tools.

Responsibilities

• Own RF subsystems across the radar chain including Tx/Rx, front-end, LO, filtering and interfaces to digital.
• Translate mission needs into RF requirements and architecture trades.
• Design, simulate, and validate RF circuits for X-band and above.
• Lab bring-up, debugging, and RF performance tuning.
• Run EM and circuit simulations and correlate with measurements.
• Create and review schematics/PCB with RF considerations.
• Define verification strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Lead technically and mentor engineers across disciplines.
