Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Tampere is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales of power conversion solutions for utility-scale renewables. You will build strong relationships with utilities, IPPs, developers, and EPCs, and drive regional growth with autonomy.

You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and project teams to deliver compelling proposals, lead negotiations, and ensure successful contract closure while traveling across the region. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical/business field.
• 7–10 years progressive sales experience in power conversion/renewables.
• Understanding of utility-scale solar, wind, or battery storage systems.
• Strong commercial acumen with negotiation & closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies for utility-scale power conversion solutions.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business with utilities, IPPs, developers, and EPCs.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and position Hitachi Energy solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts to secure profitable sales agreements.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and project management teams.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence.
