Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Civil Works Supervisor – Onshore Wind for a Finland-based, long-term project with a major renewable energy developer. The role focuses on supervising civil works on wind farm sites, managing interfaces across civil BoP, roads, foundations and substation works, and ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance.

You will collaborate with the Site Manager and project team to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in civil engineering.
• Experience supervising civil construction on wind farms or similar projects.
• QA/QC and HSE expectations on active construction sites.
• Strong planning and coordination across multiple work packages.
• MS Excel, Word and SharePoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
• Monitor contractor progress, quality and performance against scope.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical, substation and turbine work packages.
• Review civil construction documentation, drawings and design information where required.
• Participate in design meetings, inspections and site coordination meetings.
• Identify construction risks, programme issues, quality concerns or interface challenges.
• Document progress, deviations and site observations clearly.
• Represent the client professionally with contractors, consultants, suppliers, landowners and project stakeholders.
