Golf GameBook in Espoo, Finland is hiring a Marketing Specialist to optimize owned channels—from the website to app store pages, newsletters and in-app messaging—and help golfers discover, download and love the app. You will join a hands-on marketing team reporting to the Head of Marketing, with a hybrid work setup and a preference for the Helsinki metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in marketing or related field.
• 2+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in a mobile app or subscription business.
• Experience with owned marketing channels (websites, newsletters, in-app messaging).
• Experience with App Store and Google Play optimization and events/promotions.
• Familiarity with modern app marketing tools (e.g., Figma, Webflow, OneSignal, Mixpanel, Adjust, RevenueCat).
• Strong analytics skills and ability to turn data into insights.
• Fluent Finnish and English, strong communication.
• Organised and able to manage multiple projects.

Golf GameBook, a tech company headquartered in Espoo, Finland, is dedicated to enhancing the joy of golf through our world-class mobile application. With a thriving community of over 2 million registered users and over 70 million rounds of golf recorded to date, Golf GameBook is the leading social scoring app for golf - like a clubhouse in your pocket!

We are now looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team at Golf GameBook. In this role, you will work with and optimise our owned marketing channels – from our website and app store pages to newsletters and in-app messaging – helping more golfers discover, download and fall in love with the Golf GameBook app. You will be a key member of our marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing.

We follow a hybrid-model, primarily working from the office. We would prefer that you already live in the Helsinki metropolitan area or are willing to relocate here.

Main responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise our owned marketing and communications channels, including the website, App Store and Google Play product pages, marketing newsletters and in-app messaging.
• Manage, maintain and continuously improve our website, built on Webflow.
• Support user acquisition through App Store Optimisation (ASO), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and AI Optimisation (AIO), ensuring Golf GameBook is easy to discover across app stores, search engines and AI assistants.
• Support Golf GameBook app and Tournament Manager user acquisition, retention and subscriber growth across the customer journey.
• Contribute to copywriting, creative content creation and marketing campaigns across all channels.
• Track, analyse and report on channel performance, using data to test, learn and improve results.
• Collaborate with product, design and other internal teams to ensure messaging is aligned with our brand, products and marketing goals.
• Contribute to other marketing activities and initiatives as our team and markets grow.

What we are looking for

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or another relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a mobile app, consumer tech or subscription business.
• Experience in golf either professionally through work or as a hobby.
• Hands-on experience with owned marketing channels such as websites, email newsletters, and in-app messaging.
• Experience in managing and optimising App Store and Google Play Pages, In App Events and Promotions.
• Familiarity with tools across the modern app marketing stack. We currently use Figma, Webflow, OneSignal, Mixpanel, Adjust and RevenueCat.
• Experience with marketing analytics and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and meet clear deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• A collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally.

Additional preferred skills:

• Understanding of AI search and how brands appear in AI assistants and answer engines.
• Experience with A/B testing on web, app store pages or email campaigns.
• Basic visual design skills for creating marketing assets.
• Proficiency in additional languages to help expand our global reach.
