Job summary

LeadDesk Plc in Helsinki is seeking an HR Generalist to support employees and managers across Europe. You’ll handle everyday HR operations, employment documents, and data integrity in Sympa, while partnering with the Head of People and a multi-national team.

This is a hands-on, ownership‑driven role with a hybrid work model. The position requires a couple of years in HR operations, Finnish employment knowledge, fluency in Finnish and English, and strong HR systems skills.

Qualifications

• A couple of years of experience in HR operations or broad HR specialist role.
• Practical knowledge of Finnish employment practices and some experience with occupational healthcare and work ability processes.
• Structured, precise way of working with deadlines.
• Growth mindset, willingness to develop yourself.
• Helpful service mindset and sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Confidence using HR systems and reporting, including Microsoft 365.
• Fluent Finnish and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for employee and manager questions through our shared People inbox.
• Prepare employment agreements and lifecycle documents; keep data accurate in Sympa.
• Prepare HR reports for leadership and support HR audits and payroll checks as needed.
• Manage quarterly HR newsletter and intranet content; communicate on HR topics.
