Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking an HR Systems & Integration Specialist to bridge IT, HR and business. You will actively configure systems and manage integrations in a hands-on role within a Nordic IT team, enabling scalable and compliant HR tech.

The position offers a flexible hybrid model with three days in the office and two days remote, and requires strong English and Finnish skills, plus experience in HR systems and Workday.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, HR systems, or a related field.
• Several years of HR systems, solution management, or application architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of integrations, data flows, workflows and enterprise app landscapes.
• Experience with HR platforms such as Workday is a plus.
• Bridge business needs and technical solutions; strong stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the HR technology landscape, including architecture, integrations, workflows, and data flows.
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Manage application lifecycle activities: updates, testing, deployments, and reliability.
• Translate HR and business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Drive data quality, integration governance, and security compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and architectural transparency.
