Job summary

North Resort Oy in Finland is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the active sales of Lapland travel experiences, including accommodation, dining, activities and transportation, across Finnish and international markets.

You will build and develop North Resorts sales, focusing on international tour operators, travel agencies and direct customers, identifying new partners and presenting tailored packages to drive growth in a seasonal tourism environment.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience and a track record of achieving results in customer-facing roles.
• A strong sales mindset and genuine motivation for active new customer acquisition.
• The ability to build and develop long-term customer and business partnerships.
• Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong digital skills and the ability to work effectively with various sales and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• A proactive and goal-oriented approach, with the ability to organise and manage your own work independently.
• Readiness to work in an international and seasonal tourism environment.
• Willingness to travel when required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Actively sell North Resorts accommodation, restaurant, activity and transportation services, as well as travel packages.
• Build and maintain relationships with international tour operators, travel agencies and travel trade partners.
• Actively identify and acquire new international B2B clients and business partners.
• Drive direct sales to individual travellers and groups.
• Identify customer needs and develop suitable service packages and tailored proposals.
• Prepare quotations, conduct sales negotiations and actively close deals.
• Manage existing customer relationships and develop opportunities for additional and repeat sales.
• Contribute to the product development and commercialisation of North Resorts services and travel packages.
• Utilise sales channels, e-commerce platforms and other digital sales solutions effectively.
• Actively monitor sales targets, booking levels and occupancy rates.
• Participate, where relevant, in international travel trade sales events, workshops, trade fairs and client meetings.
• Work closely with the Resort Manager, reception, restaurant and activity teams, as well as external marketing partners.
• Monitor, analyse and report on sales performance.
