Job summary

Suominen Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence & Transformation to shape and drive our commercial agenda across Europe and the Americas. You will join the Strategy & Transformation team and contribute to the Full Potential transformation program, aligning commercial activity with program streams.

You will lead initiatives in pricing, profitability, portfolio segmentation, and CRM ownership, working with cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced, global context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial excellence, pricing, sales effectiveness, strategy or business development.
• Hands-on experience with account planning and contract management.
• A track record of delivering measurable financial results.
• Proven change management skills and experience working in a matrix organization.
• The confidence and credibility to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders.
• The ability to both advise and roll up your sleeves on delivery.
• Excellent English.

Responsibilities

• Shape the agenda: Partner with commercial leadership to set and prioritize the commercial agenda, bringing a clear point of view grounded in commercial excellence best practice.
• Grow margins: Lead the analysis and initiatives that shift our portfolio toward higher-margin products – from pricing and product/customer profitability to portfolio segmentation.
• Build winning sales capabilities: Design and embed the tools and practices that help our sales teams succeed – account planning, contract management, pricing discipline, value propositions and negotiation preparation.
• Own our CRM: Act as business owner for our sales CRM and drive its development and adoption.
• Challenge the status quo: Bring external best practice and benchmarks to rethink how we work in both sales and customer service.
• Make it happen: Bring structure and discipline to project execution, in step with the other Full Potential program streams.
