Metsähallitus is seeking an Executive Assistant for a permanent position at its headquarters in Helsinki. The position starts on October 1, 2026, or as agreed.
As an executive assistant, your duties will primarily include facilitating the daily work of the Director of Nature Services and the Director of Real Estate Development. You will be part of a conversational assistant team supporting the management of Metsähallitus. The position is organizationally located in the group's communication, strategy, and sustainability unit.
Key tasks are management of calendars and schedules, travel and meeting arrangements, and organising and coordinating daily meetings, visits, and events. Invoice processing and document management are also part of the duties.
Success in the position is supported by excellent cooperation and interaction skills, flexibility, and a quick ability to react in changing situations. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Additionally, you have a service-oriented attitude, an open approach to different tasks, and a positive and solution-oriented approach. With a proactive work style, you ensure things run smoothly even under tight schedules. You have already gained experience in supporting management or a management team.
We hope for a university degree suitable for the position (e.g., Bachelor of Business Administration) and previous experience in executive assistant roles. Knowledge of state administration as an operating environment and knowledge of business are considered an advantage.
Strong digital skills and a proactive approach to adopting modern tools and technologies, as well as a strong interest in developing working methods through more efficient use of AI. Good interaction and cooperation skills. You operate naturally with different stakeholders and communicate fluently in Finnish and English. Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
