Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead the Quality strategy across Europe, reporting to the Europe Hub leadership. You will shape quality across Power, Distribution, and Insulation & Components manufacturing and drive improvements with a strong leadership style.

The role requires translating business strategy into execution, building high-performing teams, and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable quality gains across a complex industrial landscape.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Operations or related field.
• Significant leadership experience in a complex manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proven track record leading teams and driving business performance through quality and operations excellence.
• Strong understanding of quality methodologies and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience influencing factory leadership and working in matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the regional Quality strategy in line with Hitachi Energy priorities.
• Lead and develop regional quality teams across multiple product lines and locations.
• Partner with factory leadership to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive accountability and proactive problem solving with data-driven decisions.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Ensure governance and effective quality management systems are deployed across the region.
