Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a leading specialist contractor delivering hyperscale and mission-critical projects, seeking an experienced Quality Lead to join a major data centre project in Helsinki, Finland.

You will own the Project Quality Management System, drive QA/QC across CSA and MEP packages, and lead site QA/QC activities from construction through to handover, ensuring right-first-time quality and compliance with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA and MEP installations.
• Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments is preferred.
• Proven leadership of site QA/QC teams and effective reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of the Project Quality Management System across CSA and MEP works.
• Mentor and develop site-based QA/QC Engineers.
• Oversee inspections, testing activities, ITPs, and quality documentation.
• Manage NCRs and ensure effective corrective/preventative actions.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, subcontractor, and client teams.
• Ensure quality dossiers and handover documentation meet highest standards.
• Support internal/external audits and promote right-first-time quality culture.
• Act as the primary quality representative for project team and client stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business at the forefront of the European data centre sector, working on one of the region's most technically challenging projects. As the Quality Lead, you will take ownership of the project Quality Management System, driving quality standards across both CSA and MEP packages while leading site QA/QC activities from construction through to handover.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years' QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of both CSA and MEP installations
• Previous experience within data centres, pharmaceuticals, industrial, or other mission-critical environments
• Proven leadership experience managing site quality teams
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspections, commissioning interfaces, and handover processes
