Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. in Helsinki seeks an experienced Quality Lead to drive on-site QA/QC for a data centre project. You will lead the QA/QC team, ensure compliance with project specs, and coordinate with PM, Construction, Engineering, Commissioning and client teams.

This senior, site-based role emphasizes right-first-time delivery, ITP oversight, NCR management, and documentation handover to the client, with mentoring across the QA/QC group.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Lead to join our project team in Helsinki, Finland. This role will be responsible for ensuring all Mechanical works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

This is a senior site-based role responsible for driving quality strategy, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and leading the QA/QC team to deliver works to the highest standards. The Quality Lead will act as the primary quality representative on site, working closely with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Commissioning, and Client teams.

Requirements

• Lead implementation of the Project Quality Management System across CSA and MEP works
• Manage and mentor QA/QC Engineers on site
• Oversee ITPs, inspections, testing, and quality documentation
• Manage NCRs and drive corrective actions
• Liaise with construction, commissioning, subcontractors, and client representatives
• Ensure quality dossiers and handover documentation are completed to required standards
• Support audits and promote a right-first-time quality culture

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years' QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of both CSA and MEP installations
• Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical environments desirable
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and reporting skills
