Hitachi Energy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward-thinking team in different locations across Europe. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative products and systems from concept to completion. You will be responsible for driving projects to success and ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and manufacturability.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, selecting optimal materials and components.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation that supports design processes and facilitates knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and implement continuous design improvements based on test results and industry best practices, enhancing quality and efficiency.
Your background
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
