Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You will work with a Deployment Strategist to co-create production-ready capabilities for large strategic customers and multiple accounts.

You will ship real AI agents, integrate data pipelines, and own components end-to-end, from architecture to observable production. Travel ~25% is expected as you partner with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or technical delivery, with at least one production system.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with customer-facing technical delivery is required.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; able to explain prompts.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic AI solutions that run in production for enterprise customers.
• Design agent intelligence including prompts, tool calls, and system integration.
• Own components end-to-end from architecture to deployed and observed.
• Build data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks; validate outputs.
• Create dashboards and KPI reports to monitor deployment health.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs from sketch to deployable in days.
• Co-build with customers and partners, sharing best practices and enablement.
• surface platform gaps and provide actionable feedback to product teams.
