A leading company in high-quality piping solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer in Alicante to oversee quality certifications, facilitate training, and contribute to Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, with 3-8 years of relevant experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Purpose

Facilitate quality certifications, audits and standards implementation. Contribute to normal & seamless production with minimum claims, rejections or Scrap. Develop knowledge repository to track, trace and solve potential issues or claims. Train and develop Quality Team and Adjacent Team on Quality techniques and systems. Contribute to Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Research & develop action plans to ensure compliance.

Follow up Certification Plan and enforce compliance. Training, reporting and triggering actions.

Develop team knowledge & standards. Collaborate with production staff to comply with Autocontrol

Develop “Quick Response Quality Control” methodology.

Keep Lab facilities up to date, supporting Lab Manager.

Requirements

University degree in Engineering or Technical Graduate

3-8 years of experience in business or related market .

Technical Skills & Experience in Data Analytics, Norms and Standards skills and Quality Systems.

Knowledge requirements

Ability to drive several commercial excellence workstreams in parallel

Strong coach/mentor, able to influence without authority and motivate a team

Ability to solve complex problems by using excellent problem-solving skills

Exhibits a strong sense of professionalism and integrity and is open and trustworthy

Is results-oriented and holds high level of energy and creativity with the willingness to go the extra mile

Possesses strong relationship and communication skills and is a thought partner/challenger for the local sales management

Ability to analyze data and develop insights to drive Commercial Excellence and profitable growth

Strong analytics skills, experience with advanced analytics and AI an advantage
