Job Opening: Inside Sales Professional in Barcelona

We are proud to announce that we have officially landed in Spain with a new office in Barcelona. We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales professional to join our Spain & Portugal Operations team. In this role, you will promote our services at cargo-partner and identify new business opportunities through various inbound and outbound sales activities to increase our market share in the region.

At cargo-partner, we strive to improve continuously. Our new Barcelona office allows us to provide local support to existing customers and serve our clients in Spain and Western Europe better. As our global network expands, now is an excellent time to join our team.

Inside Sales Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities and promote cargo-partner services (air, ocean, road, customs, rail, and contract logistics).
  • Make warm and cold calls daily to generate potential new business.
  • Handle quotations for local and international customers, working with product management to set rates and tariffs, and serve as the first contact for global agents.
  • Act as liaison between Outside Sales colleagues and internal/external partners.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads.
  • Build rapport and maintain customer relations through effective communication.
  • Arrange and coordinate appointments.
  • Perform sales administration, including assessing customer credit.
  • Provide regular reporting and assist with mail correspondence.
Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Occasional local travel may be required.
  • Proficient with technology, including data entry.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in another language is a plus.
