Team & Projects
The Acceleration team focuses on developing creative, data-driven solutions to grow Rover’s user base and enhance pet care experiences. Projects include building tools for pet sitters, increasing word-of-mouth traffic, engaging pet lovers beyond active search, and partnering with pet-related businesses.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical planning and execution of complex projects
- Provide architectural guidance and uphold high standards
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop and ship features
- Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing
- Ensure operational excellence of owned features
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with web and/or mobile applications
- Proficiency with technologies such as React, React Native, Python, Django
- Experience leading cross-functional projects
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Passion for automated testing and code quality
