Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will also integrate front-end elements built by your colleagues, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary.

• Develop applications and services using Agile methods
• Contribute to organizational improvements
• Manage back-end services for payment processing
• Code, test, and operate Node.js services
• Identify and fix defects proactively
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design high-performance, low-latency applications
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Integrate data storage solutions

Your expertise in a nutshell:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Knowledge of Node.js or PHP with frameworks like Express and NestJS
• Experience building REST APIs
• Familiarity with SQS, Redis, Elasticsearch (nice to have)
• Understanding asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
• Experience with user authentication and authorization
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases
• Understanding scalable application design principles
• Optimizing output for different platforms
• Creating database schemas supporting business processes
• Implementing automated testing with frameworks like Jest
• Version control with Git

• 3+ years experience as a Node.js Developer
• BA in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with web stack and server optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
